Job Description

Summary

As a valued member of the Marketing & Business Development department the Proposal and Presentation Specialist (Proposal Specialist) will contribute to a dynamic team and firm growth via the creation of visually compelling pitch material RFP responses presentation decks and other proposal collateral with a core focus on PowerPoint and other presentation and design tools. Reporting to the Senior Proposal Manager the Proposal Specialist will work closely with members of Sidleys Proposal team to produce high-quality proposals that are creative dynamic and illustrative.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create visually compelling pitch decks that inform inspire and captivate firm clients
  • Work with members of the firms creative team to assimilate logos graphics illustrations and other visual elements into tailored proposals
  • Craft key messages and unique differentiators for target audiences
  • Manage production of pitch drafts and oversee version control
  • Review edit and proofread presentation materials
  • Lead (and participate in) strategy meetings and draft review sessions with key stakeholders
  • Coordinate and produce pre-qualification submittals/Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Review RFP requirements and develop work plans timelines and recommended action steps
  • Work in tandem with the firms competitive intelligence team to produce research packages for certain pursuits
  • Coordinate reporting and data collection from various technology platforms such as Foundation InterAction NetDocs and Salesforce
  • Interact with various firmwide departments to respond to specific client inquiries such as Pricing Knowledge Management HR Inclusion and Learning and Development
  • Coordinate various logistics including the delivery of proposals to clients through procurement portals
  • Create update and track proposal activities in firms record management system
  • Complete various reporting tasks as needed

Content Management:

  • Maintain proposal content within firms document management system and online content generator
  • Archive past proposals and presentations to the appropriate locations
  • Maintain content in the teams RFP Playbook

Marketing Administration:

  • Track and report metrics on proposal activities using Salesforce and other platforms
  • File and organize marketing tools and materials
