Job Description
Amega is a growing fintech company seeking to hire a Senior QA Engineer to join our talented team for working on the company website client area and mobile app.
As a Senior QA Engineer your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be joining a very professional product team responsible for designing implementing and executing test plans as well as identifying and reporting any defects or issues. Your expertise in both manual and automation testing will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our software development process. You will have an opportunity to bring your ideas to live revisit existing test processes or build new ones.
Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing for a website and mobile application (Android and iOS)
Follow QA processes and best practices and improve them
Develop and execute test cases and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products
Identify document and track software defects and issues and work closely with the development team to resolve them
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage
Perform both manual and automated testing to validate software functionality performance and security
Design and maintain test environments test data and test tools
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes
Proficiency in manual testing automation is a plus
Experience with test automation platform: xRay Allure or similar
Experience with some popular testing frameworks such as Selenium Mocha Jest Jasmine etc.
Experience with any of endtoend testing automation tools is a plus
Familiarity with programming languages like Python JavaScript or C#
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team
Understanding of API testing
Skills:
Atlassian stack (Jira / Confluence) Postman
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Be a good listener and communicator
Proficiency in English language
Experience in load testing is a plus
Russian language is a plus
