Job Description
- Design develop and maintain internal data platforms for scalable storage of energy sector data
- Architect and implement robust scalable and reliable data pipelines that ingest transform and integrate time series data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and implement data models that support business analytics and forecasting
- Develop dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders
- Drive best practices for data quality security and performance optimisation
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering standards
Qualifications :
- Advanced degree in Computer Science Data Science Mathematics or similar field
- Minimum 46 years of experience in data engineering roles.
- Proficient in Python and SQL for largescale data transformations of time series data
- Extensive experience with Databricks (Lakehouse Architecture) Azure cloud services and Power BI
- Strong understanding of DataOps and DevOps principles
- Strong interest in data modelling (conceptual logical physical) ETL development and data warehousing
- Full professional proficiency in English
