Job Description
The Public Cloud Portfolio Unit operates on a national and international level for mediumsized and large companies. We develop market and operate agile cloudnative forwardlooking products and services for the digital world. We see ourselves as innovation drivers and make our customers business fit for the digital future. Our mission: Together with our customer shaping the safest easiest and most efficient transformation to a digitized and cloudnative future.
Your Department
We run Open Telekom Cloud a public cloud standard product based on open source community software and driven by principles of DevOps and with SRE in mind. This also includes DevSecOps and GitOps approaches. We have Software Developers backend experts fullstack engineers SREs and other roles working handinhand. Lean structures agile methods highly motivated teams and an extremely dynamic business environment determine our actions. With this customeroriented and agile orientation we are the anchor point for the Public Cloud business in Deutsche Telekom Group.
We are measured by delivering a secure stable and innovative platform. We work jointly with our platform partner and other partners out of the OpenStack ecosystem to create a highly innovative public cloud product based on European security and data protection standards.
We are looking for people who are professionals and evangelists with a great deal of enthusiasm for cloud technology and who are up to the challenges created by the development and operation of a hyperscale public cloud.
We offer a unique insight into how a large public cloud works under the hood intercultural teamwork flat hierarchies and an independent workstyle.
Your Tasks
As a Developer Public Cloud you understand the latest developments in cloud and container technology. Customeroriented you will develop new products and automation solutions for the Open Telekom Cloud.

Qualifications :
Your Profile
- At least 5 years of Solution Engineer or similar experience working with cloud technologies.
- Knowledge and proved experience with Cloud operation and technologies
- Application operation with High Availability
- Cloud native operation
- Linux distros: Ubuntu/eulerOS/redhat
- Experience with PostgreSQL Development and Management in a cloud environment
- Kubernetes
- Good communication skills with a distributed team across Europe in English
- RESTAPI Development
- Expert in ETL design and development
- Data Modeling in RDBMS/NoSQL
- Experienced in designing system architecture
Experience and knowledge in these areas are a plus:
- CI/CD
- DevOps
- Container technologies
- Deeper experience in design and building up infrastructures.
