Job Description

Position Summary

The Director of Marketing Operations is a transformational leader responsible for driving creative efficiency workback calendaring overseeing marketing processes tools budgeting crossfunctional collaboration and bridges the gap between marketing and all other departments. Works closely with BU Marketing Leadership across all divisions. Additionally this role collaborates crossfunctionally with the digital & ecommerce teams retail team and other teams to ensure seamless of marketing strategies.  Position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and oversees a team of  approximately 35 marketing professionals.

The Director of Marketing Operations also has direct responsibility for overseeing marketing initiatives that support the sales organization.

Pay range for this position is $100000 $150000.  All exempt roles are incentive eligible.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities

  • Continuously identifies and implements improvements to enhance marketing operations.
  • Fosters a culture of efficiency accountability and innovation within the marketing team.
  • Leads the integration and transformation of existing systems to the Asana project management system and FIGMA design system to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration.
  • Leads project management efforts to ensure marketing initiatives are executed on time within scope and on budget.
  • Oversees digital marketing content coordination ensuring alignment with brand strategy and crossfunctional teams.
  • Identifies implements and optimizes tools that support marketing efficiency and performance.
  • Drives adoption and training initiatives for Asana and FIGMA across marketing and creative teams.
  • Establishes and maintains streamlined workflows to improve crossfunctional collaboration and speed.
  • Continuously evaluates and refines marketing operations to enhance efficiency.
  • Be the primary point of contact for the sales organization for their marketing / creative and copy needs
  • Manages marketing budgets ensuring accurate forecasting tracking and reporting.
  • Drives cost efficiencies while maintaining highimpact marketing initiatives.
  • Manages contracts with external vendors agencies and partners to ensure service quality and costeffectiveness.
  • Oversees procurement and negotiations to align with marketing and business objectives.
  • Develops performance dashboards and KPIs to measure the success of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provides datadriven insights to support strategic decisionmaking.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in marketing or other appropriate related field of study is required.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience
  • Five years of leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead develop grow and retain a team
  • Demonstrated experience with goal setting delegating tasks and responsibilities set goals holding teams accountable and providing thoughtful and meaningful feedback
  • Experience in marketing operations including data analysis campaign management and technology implementation. 

Knowledge Skills & Abilities 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively guide a marketing operations team. 
  • Deep understanding of marketing ops tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams. 
  • Business acumen and understanding of creative process and how to create simplicity in a complex world and build workback calendars and better efficiencies 
  • Proficiency in Asana Figma Sharepoint Microsoft Suite understanding of Adobe Products
  • Strong organizational & contract negotiation skills

 


Additional Information :

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Work is generally performed in a standard office environment
  • Ability to stand type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
  • Occasional adverse or hazardous conditions may exist when attending events/ photoshoots
  • Occasionally requires walking over uneven or slippery surfaces
  • Not required but preferred to be able to occasionally lift push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position but no more than 50
  • Regular travel is required as necessary
