Job Description
Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Drive and deliver the monthend process for Pinnacle Wine Services entities.
- Identify and effectively report balance sheet risk through the monthly preparation of general ledger reconciliations and drive improvements across the group.
- Undertake internal control testing and compile information for internal and external auditors including explanation of movements in key accounts.
- Maintaining documented controls and process flows to identify efficiencies and meet internal control requirements.
- Assist with preparation and analysis of the annual operating expense and capital budgets.
- Leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI to drive efficiencies.
- Proactive business partnering with Pinnacle and Endeavour Group finance teams to assist in providing details around financial information.
Qualifications :
Now lets talk about you:
- Minimum of 57 years relevant experience
- Degree qualification and CA/CPA.
- Good systems skills D365 ERP BI & Advanced Excel capability
- Strategic and commercial thinker
- Strong business partnering skills
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders including senior leadership members
- Ability to remain focused under pressure and prioritise accordingly
- Strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills
- Commercial Insight Analysis & Insights
- Proactively contribute and drive towards a culture of continuous improvement
- Retail or drinks industry experience desirable
