Job Description

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support our magnet wire manufacturing business by applying mechanical engineering expertise to enhance and develop production equipment and processes. This role involves sourcing and modifying existing equipment integrating commercially available solutions and driving the development of proprietary manufacturing technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Looking for a hands on MFG Engineer who has Project/Program Management exp.
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field.
  • Experience in machinery design continuous improvement and operational/functional analysis.
  • Strong understanding of machine design fabrication methods machine assembly rotating equipment design and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience in machinery development modification troubleshooting and commissioning in an industrial environment.
  • Utilize CAD tools 2D/3D) to design equipment components layouts and process flow modifications.
  • Lead the design modification and implementation of manufacturing equipment to enhance efficiency reliability and performance.
  • Develop detailed project work packages including scope equipment specifications cost estimates vendor selection and timeline management.
  • Manage endtoend of projects including installation design commissioning and postinstallation optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and process issues implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors managing procurement installation and integration of new or modified equipment.
  • Maintain project documentation including engineering designs reports and risk assessments.
  • Travel as needed (approximately 20 with possible higher travel periods based on project needs).
