Position Overview:
A leading company in the lubricants and grease industry seeks a dynamic and resultsdriven Sales Manager preferably based in Accra or Kumasi to drive business growth and expand market presence in Francophone West Africa. The company specializes in providing highquality lubricants and grease solutions for various industrial and commercial applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies identifying new business opportunities managing key accounts and ensuring revenue growth. A strong understanding of the lubricants and grease industry including product applications competitive landscape and market dynamics is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement.
Industry Experience: Minimum of 35 years of proven sales experience in the lubricants grease or related industry covering both B2B and B2C segments.
Regional Expertise: Strong understanding of the West African market particularly in Francophone countries with an established network of industry contacts.
Sales & Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills to drive sales and maintain longterm partnerships.
Independence & Travel Flexibility: Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region and around countries.
Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with lubricant product applications performance characteristics and industrial usage is an advantage.
ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to analyze challenges develop strategic solutions and adapt to changing market conditions.
Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills to assess sales trends customer behavior and market performance.
Resilience & Adaptability: Capable of working under pressure meeting sales targets and adjusting to dynamic business environments.
CRM & Reporting: Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and reporting tools is preferred.
