The Role
The Business Development (BD) team is primarily responsible for positioning the company in the marketplace generate interest and build a strong pipeline within the pharma/biotech sector and eventually deliver on the sales and revenue goals of the company.
Additionally the team plays the role of trusted voice of customer to the whole company and advisors to the executive team. It plays a pivotal role in identifying and developing opportunities to achieve Chemify’s vision to expand access to new and better designed molecules and provide new and transformative capabilities to partners through portfolio expansion and growth worldwi
de.The Business Development Unit Director/Sr Director is responsible for identifying generating new leads for Chemify converting the leads to an active engagement followed by successful contract closure. The candidate must possess a hunter mindset identify and connect with industry leaders/decision makers and set up an audience for Chemify. Having a rolodex of network in the industry will be key to this role. Additionally the successful candidate will work closely with the SVP and head of Business Development and Sales to nurture the overall company’s commercial and partnering strategy through market research strategic briefs thoughtful internal communications outreach campaigns etc.
