Overview / Summary:
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in infotainment product development with expertise in Bluetooth and WiFi across Linux and QNX platforms to work in our clients projects in the automotive sector.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Take full ownership of Bluetooth and/or WiFi software development for various infotainment platforms.
- Set up and integrate Bluetooth and/or WiFi devices on new infotainment systems.
- Analyze both standard and internal requirements to ensure compliance and performance.
- Participate in software architecture and design reviews to enhance system efficiency.
- Develop and implement a reusable software strategy for the product/project.
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of comprehensive software design documentation.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded software development with a focus on Bluetooth and/or WiFi in the automotive infotainment domain.
- Strong proficiency in C and C programming for Linux and/or QNX platforms.
- Handson experience integrating Bluetooth opensource stacks into various platforms.
- Indepth knowledge of Bluetooth technology and practical experience with Bluetooth protocols including both stack and profiles.
- Practical experience in developing WiFi features such as Station Mode and Access Point (AP) Mode.
- Solid understanding of network utilities on Linux/QNX.
- Experience in integrating and porting different stacks and libraries to target platforms.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Languages: fluent in English.
Complementary Requirements:
- Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy protocol is a plus
