Job Description: Java Developer with IBM Security Experience
Position Overview: The Software (IAM) Developer is responsible for developing administering and supporting software solutions for the agencys identity and access management (IAM) systems specifically focusing on single signon security gateway applications and the integration of webbased systems. This role requires extensive experience with IBM Security solutions (ISVG ISVA ISVD) and advanced Java EE development skills. As a seniorlevel developer the candidate will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth implementation and integration of IAM systems address issues and ensure security and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software solutions for identity and access management systems specifically IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG) IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA) IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD) and ISVA Federation module.
- Administer and support IAM systems and applications ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Work closely with product support teams project teams management and customers to identify problem areas design and implement solutions.
- Develop system specifications programming standards and ensure the proper configuration of IAM systems and applications.
- Collaborate with project teams on a daily basis providing expertise in software solutions and troubleshooting.
- Investigate diagnose and resolve complex issues within the IAM system.
- Participate in code reviews providing feedback on software quality and performance.
- Maintain CI/CD processes to ensure seamless deployment of software solutions.
- Leverage Java EE skills (servlets JSP) to integrate and customize IAM applications.
- Contribute to solution design and architecture based on project needs and requirements.
- Ensure that security and access control measures are effectively implemented within all IAM solutions.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- 8 years of software development experience with Java EE (servlets JSP).
- 3 years of handson experience with IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG).
- 3 years of handson experience with IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA).
- 3 years of handson experience with IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD).
- Experience with CI/CD processes.
- Strong understanding of software systems integration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to plan and accomplish goals independently with a strong sense of judgment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience administering and supporting an IAM system built on IBM software.
- 5 years of experience with Red Hat Linux.
- 5 years of experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
- 5 years of experience with IBM DB2.
- 1 year of previous experience with statelevel government projects is a plus.
