Spend your summer (MayOctober) guiding cruise ship guests through Norways breathtaking fjords majestic mountains and charming coastal towns. As a guide you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative tours ensuring that guests have an unforgettable experience while exploring Norways rich history vibrant culture and stunning landscapes.
What Youll Do
- Welcome and guide international cruise ship guests through some of Norways most iconic and scenic locations.
- Share insightful and entertaining stories about Norwegian history culture and traditions.
- Lead excursions to picturesque fjords waterfalls historic landmarks and vibrant cities.
- Ensure an excellent guest experience by providing friendly and professional service.
- Adapt tours based on group dynamics weather conditions and other factors.
- Work in an international team collaborating with fellow guides and tour coordinators.
What Were Looking For
We are seeking dynamic customeroriented individuals who have a passion for travel storytelling and cultural exchange.
Requirements:
- Fluent in German (C2 level)
- Excellent communication skills and a positive engaging personality.
- A flexible solutionoriented mindset and the ability to adapt to different situations.
- Passion for nature history and cultural heritage.
- Previous experience in guiding public speaking tourism or customer service is a plus.
- No prior knowledge of Norwegian required.
- Having lived studied or worked abroad is an advantage.
