Job Description:
The IT Project Manager (Agile/Scrum) will be responsible for managing the planning execution and delivery of IT projects with a focus on Agile methodologies (Scrum). This role will involve coordinating and leading teams through the entire project lifecycle while ensuring alignment with business objectives timelines and budgets. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills while fostering a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies ensuring delivery on time within scope and within budget.
- Facilitate daily standups sprint planning sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including business analysts developers testers and stakeholders to ensure project goals are clearly defined and met.
- Develop and manage project plans timelines and deliverables.
- Track project progress identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure project deliverables align with quality standards and meet customer requirements.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement through iterative processes and Agile practices.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to communicate project requirements updates and risks.
- Create and maintain project documentation including status reports project timelines and postproject evaluations.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members to facilitate selforganizing teams and encourage ownership of deliverables.
- Monitor and manage project budgets ensuring proper allocation of resources and minimizing variances.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders and senior management on project status issues and risks.
- Ensure that Agile best practices are followed across all project phases promoting Agile adoption within the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience as an IT Project Manager with a focus on Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Solid understanding of Agile principles and practices (Scrum Kanban etc.).
- Proven experience leading crossfunctional teams in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira Trello or similar platforms.
- Experience working in both technical and business environments ensuring alignment with business needs and goals.
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with a focus on Agile/Scrum methodologies. Solid understanding of Agile principles and practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education
Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university preferred and 5+ years experience with technology or data organizations required.
