Job Description
Position: IT project manager
Duration: 12 months
Location: Hillsboro OR (Hybrid-Remotely- one day/month)
Client: Washington County
Job Description:
The IT project manager leads and manages IT Project
This role involves collaboration resource management risk mitigation ensuring timely within-budget and high-quality project completion. The ideal candidate should have technical expertise leadership skills and a strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Adherence to project management institute standards including waterfall and agile methodologies
- Effective management of project scope schedule and budget
- Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule utilizing
- Effective project risk management issues decisions and change control
- Document/deliverable tracking
- Status reports and/or presentations to County leadership as requested
- Customer and vendor engagement
- Additional project management services as defined by the IT PMO Manager
Job requirements
Project examples:
- County-wide Phone System Replacement and other projects as assigned and funded
- Candidates must be extremely thorough and detailed oriented
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and workload independently and efficiently
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to express themselves effectively and accurately in writing; experience writing and communicating technical terms into non-technical language is preferred
- Project Management Professionals preferred.
