Job Description
Seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Electrical Engineer to lead manage and execute electrical engineering tasks across a dynamic portfolio of projects. This role is based in our Albany NY or Meriden CT office and offers a hybrid work schedule for flexibility and worklife balance.
As a sellerdoer you will take on a dual role managing client relationships while actively contributing to project design. Your expertise in power distribution particularly in medium voltage system design will be a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop proposals and project fee estimates.
Manage a diverse portfolio of projects ensuring successful delivery.
Lead and oversee engineering design and production.
Coordinate with clients internal teams and contractors.
Mentor and provide onthejob training to junior team members.
Certify and professionally seal project work as required.

Requirements
- 15 plus years of Electrical Engineering experience from the consulting industry.
- Firm understanding of industry standards regulations and codes.
- Electrical Engineering Degree.
- PE license is preferred.
- Proficient with the use AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Capable of working independently; minimum supervision required.

Bachelor s and/or Master s Degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university (Master s Degree or greater is preferred). GPA above 3.0 is preferred. 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience. Experience with permanent and temporary structures, construction engineering, or construction labor is a plus. Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam or the ability to do so within the first year of employment. Strong understanding of constructability and academic knowledge of structural engineering. Experience with engineering design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, RISA-3D, MathCAD, SkyCiv, etc. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised. Team player and self-motivated to achieve success.
Education
