SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

Freedom to Act
Work is accomplished with limited direction. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met.
Problem Complexity and ProblemSolving Timeframes
Provides resolution to a diverse range of recognizable complex problems. Analysis is required to identify root cause. Uses judgment within defined boundaries to develop alternate solutions both long and short term. Problem/Task resolution timeframe: Inclusive of shorter timeframes but typically the majority of tasks take three to six months to resolve.
Level of Supervision Received
Plans and arranges own work refers only unusual cases to supervisors or others.
Impact
Failure to obtain results or erroneous judgments or recommendations would normally have serious results and may require substantial expenditure of resources to correct and / or achieve goals.
Contact with Others
Represents the organization as the primary contact. Interacts with management and senior valuechain partners on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines. Achievement of objectives requires ability to influence others both internally and potentially externally.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Reasonable

Education Level: Bachelors Degree
Education Details: Marketing Hospitality Project Management Sports Marketing Business or related field
Experience: 5 years experience in corporate event planning
In Lieu of Education
In lieu of a bachelors degree an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Demonstrated success in planning project management/coordination and meeting deadlines. Advanced
Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships Proficient
Ability to recognize analyze and solve a variety of problems. Advanced
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Advanced
Strong event planning skillset both pre and post event. Proficient
