IBMi AS/400 System Engineer (f/m/d) Remote from Hungary
Our international client a leading IT services provider in Europe is looking for an experienced IBMi AS/400 System Engineer to support their growing infrastructure team. This is a fully remote role based in Hungary offering the opportunity to work on innovative IT projects in a dynamic customerfocused environment.
Tasks
Responsibilities
Configuration administration monitoring and maintenance of IBMi systems.
Automation of workflows to optimize system performance.
Documentation of system configurations and environments.
Design implementation and administration of new infrastructure components.
Rollouts and migrations ensuring seamless system transitions.
Requirements
Requirements
Proven experience in managing and configuring IBMi and AIX systems.
Knowledge of storage landscapes (HP 3PAR IBM V7000 is a plus).
Experience with Unix/Linux distributions and shell scripting.
Analytical thinking and a structured independent work approach.
High customer orientation and strong service mindset.
Fluent English (written and spoken) German is an advantage.
