Job Description

Job Title: Social Media Specialist Ecommerce

Experience Required: 2 years in social media management preferably within the ecommerce industry
Employment Type: FullTime

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to manage and enhance our brand s online presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning creating and executing social media strategies to drive brand awareness engagement and ecommerce sales. They will work closely with the marketing team to create compelling content engage with the online community and analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and implement effective social media strategies to support business goals.
    • Plan and schedule content calendars tailored to each platform (Instagram Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Pinterest etc.).
    • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Content Creation & Management:

    • Create engaging and shareable content including graphics videos and written posts.
    • Manage social media accounts to enhance brand presence and follower engagement.
    • Utilize social media tools and platforms for content scheduling and performance tracking.
  • Campaign Management & Advertising:

    • Design and execute social media campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
    • Monitor and optimize paid social media ads for maximum ROI.
    • Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors for promotional activities.
  • Community Engagement & Customer Support:

    • Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries feedback and reviews.
    • Engage with followers responding to comments and messages promptly.
    • Coordinate with customer support teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Analytics & Reporting:

    • Track and analyze social media metrics (engagement reach impressions and conversions).
    • Prepare detailed performance reports and provide actionable insights.
    • Adjust strategies based on data analytics and emerging trends.
  • Trend Analysis & Innovation:

    • Stay updated with the latest social media trends tools and best practices.
    • Experiment with new content formats and platform features.
    • Implement innovative strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.


Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing Communications or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in social media management preferably in the ecommerce industry.
  • Proven track record of successful social media campaigns.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite Buffer Sprout Social).
  • Strong knowledge of social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Instagram Ads LinkedIn Ads).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Creative mindset with a strong visual aesthetic.
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret social media metrics.
  • Experience in influencer marketing and brand collaborations.
