Job Title: Sr. Principal. Business Analyst
Summary: The Sr. Principal Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting multiple largescale projects concurrently related to both mobile device and cloudbased device product software data infrastructure and process development including development of requirements testing plans and process documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Working with Product Management the IDTF Customer Experience Finance and IT ensures that needs of key stakeholders are analyzed and clearly specified.
Collects analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness consistency comprehensibility feasibility and conformity to standards.
Participates as a product and feature subject matter expert in product definition and support.
Translates conceptual user requirements into functional requirements / technical specifications in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
Creates process models specifications diagrams and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
Working with the business leaders develops process documentation and work instructions with a focus on quality and team efficiency.
Defines and executes testing plan to identify functionality or data issues up stream in the development process and prior to implementation.
Supports the technical team with preparation of documents for regulatory compliance to the FDA and other global standards.
Identifies and solves strategic and tactical product and program problems.
Drives cross functional decision making in the areas of program strategy project scope task and feature prioritization and feature definition.
Provides guidance and mentoring to team members in navigating product development and production support of a medical device.
Supports the project manager in completing project plan tasks managing team / stakeholder expectations for timeline and deliverables drafting stakeholder communications and meeting project milestones.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Solid understanding of software development methodologies and process
Proven experience building maintaining and leveraging strategic and crossfunctional relationships through effective communication and collaborative leadership.
Proven track record of analytical ability operational excellence and detail orientation.
Strong collaboration stakeholder management and communication skillsincluding verbal written negotiation and overcoming objections.
Advanced analytical and creative problemsolving skills.
Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail.
Extremely organized and highly selfmotivated and directed.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
Enjoys working in a teamoriented collaborative environment.
Education and/or Experience:
BS/BA degree required in related Engineering discipline. Focus on Software and Project Management skills.
12 years required experience with Business Analyst / Project Analyst roles with demonstrable evidence of successfully partnering with customers and achieving shared goals and outcomes.
Extensive experience on projects for software engineering and IT with a customer facing product focus.
Healthcare and/or medical device experience is preferred.
