Location: Remote with preference for LATAM candidates/ PH/ SA

Working hours: Initially 9AM 5PM mo FR thereafter flexible

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to join our team in building and optimizing data ingestion pipelines. This role involves developing new scripts to pull data via APIs and web sing as well as enhancing existing scripts to improve efficiency and reduce reliance on thirdparty services. You will work on highpriority projects including live odds data processing API integrations and performance optimizations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Golang scripts for API integrations and data sing.
- Optimize existing scripts to improve speed and reduce dependency on external sources.
- Implement partitioning techniques to enhance live data processing efficiency.
- Collaborate with our team to prioritize development tasks based on business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion and API performance.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current and effective.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Golang for scripting and backend development.
- Handson experience with API integrations (REST WebSockets GraphQL etc.).
- Experience with web sing techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with data processing and optimizing scripts for performance.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the sports betting or odds aggregation space.
- Knowledge of database management and caching strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS GCP or similar).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
