Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Lead/Development Lead to oversee IT delivery and support activities in the Payments Domain. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience managing development support and delivery teams ensuring smooth operations incident resolution and continuous service improvement. The role requires strong leadership stakeholder management and expertise in payment systems and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Service Delivery & Support Management: Oversee production support incident resolution and problem management for critical payment applications.
Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor support and development teams ensuring high performance and continuous learning.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business teams vendors and internal IT teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to SLAs.
Incident & Problem Resolution: Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes to improve system stability.
Change & Release Management: Oversee application releases deployments and system upgrades with minimal business disruption.
Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to industry regulations (PCI DSS ISO 27001 etc.) data security policies and audit requirements.
Process Improvement: Implement ITIL best practices automation and monitoring tools to enhance support efficiency.
Reporting & Metrics: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) service levels and operational performance.
Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to ensure seamless transition from development to production.
Required Skills & Experience:
15 years of experience in IT service delivery application support and software development.
Strong understanding of payment processing systems transaction management and associated technologies (ISO 8583 SWIFT SEPA RTGS UPI etc.).
Previous experience in support activities incident management problem resolution and root cause analysis (RCA).
Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience in implementing service improvement plans.
Handson experience with monitoring tools ticketing systems and automation frameworks.
Strong technical expertise in Java .NET databases (Oracle SQL Server MongoDB) cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) APIs and middleware.
Experience in DevOps CI/CD pipelines and SRE principles is a plus.
Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical mindset with a problemsolving attitude.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security best practices in the payment's domain.
