Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MultiTrade Specialist to join our facility maintenance team in Baltimore. This role offers flexible shift schedules and requires a versatile professional who can handle various maintenance disciplines while ensuring optimal building operations.
- Perform skilled maintenance work across electrical plumbing HVAC and carpentry trades
- Execute installation repair and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical electrical and plumbing issues efficiently
- Interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications accurately
- Maintain compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests with prompt solutions
- Document all maintenance activities repairs and parts usage systematically
- Manage inventory of tools equipment and maintenance supplies
- Collaborate with maintenance team members and external contractors
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 4 years of experience in primary trade area (electrical plumbing HVAC or carpentry)
- 2 years of verified technical experience in secondary trade areas
- Technical certification in relevant field preferred (Exception: No experience required for Skilled Trades Apprenticeship Program participants)
- Demonstrated proficiency with shop equipment hand tools and measuring instruments
- Expert knowledge of pipe fitting soldering rigging drilling and installation techniques
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks safely
- Valid drivers license
- Commitment to safety protocols and building code compliance
