Job Description
Job Location: Pakistan (Remote)
Job timings: 6 PM 3 AM Pakistan time
Job type: Fulltime
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases to verify software functionality usability and performance.
- Perform manual testing of desktop applications on Windows platforms.
- Test web applications and validate their integration with Azure services.
- Identify document and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Conduct regression testing to confirm that recent changes havent adversely affected existing functionalities.
- Assist in setting up and managing test environments including Azure configurations.
- Participate in requirement analysis to provide input on testability aspects.
- Execute exploratory testing to identify potential issues beyond predefined test cases.
- Support release deployments ensuring that highquality features and endtoend scenarios are validated before going into production
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups sprint planning and story reviews. Work closely with developers and product managers to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Actively identify document and prioritize defects during manual testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure bugs are addressed in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure thorough rootcause analysis for complex issues discovered manually.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in computer science.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Manual Tester
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies tools and processes.
- Proficiency in creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases.
- Experience with desktop application testing in Windows environments.
- Familiarity with web application testing and basic knowledge of Azure services.
- Basic understanding of Azure administration including virtual machines storage and networking.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
