Product Manager Value Based Care
Responsibilities:
1. Define product strategy: Lead the development of the product vision strategy and roadmap for valuebased care solutions within the platform aligning with organizational goals market trends and customer needs.
2. Define and document product requirements inline with the product vision and business goals: Whenever needed translate high level product vision into actionable user stories ensuring that product features are welldefined userfriendly and aligned with industry best practices.
3. Act as a ValueBased Care Subject Matter Expert (SME): Provide expertise and guidance to internal teams conducting product research serving as a resource to help teams gain knowledge and insights related to valuebased care models.
4. Market analysis and customer insights: Conduct market research competitive analysis and customer interviews to identify market opportunities understand customer pain points and gather insights to inform product strategy and feature prioritization.
5. Develop detailed customer journey maps to understand user interactions and identify opportunities for enhancing the user experience.
6. Product roadmap planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key initiatives milestones and deliverables balancing shortterm priorities with longterm strategic objectives.
7. Facilitate regular crossfunctional meetings to align product development with marketing sales customer success and engineering teams.
8. Feature prioritization and backlog management: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize product features user stories and enhancements based on business value customer impact and strategic alignment ensuring that backlog items are welldefined and actionable.
9. User experience design: Work closely with designers and user experience (UX) experts to create intuitive userfriendly interfaces and workflows that optimize user engagement efficiency and satisfaction in valuebased care settings.
10. Focus on scalability and performance optimization in product design to ensure the platform can handle increasing user loads and complex workflows.
11. Agile development leadership: Serve as the product owner as needed within Agile development teams participating in sprint planning backlog grooming and daily standups and providing guidance to the development team on feature implementation and delivery.
12. Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new features and updates by customers and internal teams.
13. Product launches and gotomarket strategy: Lead product launches and gotomarket initiatives collaborating with marketing sales and customer success teams to develop messaging collateral and training materials and ensure successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.
14. Product performance analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success analyzing data and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement optimize product features and drive continuous innovation. Leverage advanced data analytics tools to derive actionable insights for product improvements and strategic planning.
15. Regulatory compliance and quality assurance: Ensure that products comply with relevant healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA HITECH) and quality standards collaborating with legal regulatory affairs and compliance teams to mitigate risks and ensure product integrity and security.
16. Stakeholder engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including customers partners executives and industry experts fostering open communication transparency and collaboration to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
17. Act as a SPOC for all product related asks/queries to all internal teams strategic partners clients commercial teams.
Requirements
1. Minimum 5 years experience in product management or product development for US healthcare is a must with a focus on valuebased care population health management.
2. Deep understanding of valuebased care models payment reform initiatives and healthcare policy trends with knowledge of accountable care organizations (ACOs) bundled payments and other valuebased reimbursement models.
3. Understanding of healthcare programs and models: Demonstrate familiarity with healthcare programs and models such as MA (Medicare Advantage) MSSP (Medicare Shared Savings Program) ACO (Accountable Care Organization) and ACO Flex to inform product development efforts and support valuebased care initiatives.
4. Indepth knowledge around clinical quality measures HEDIS NCQA PQRS eCQM MIPS etc.
5. Indepth knowledge around EHR/HIE systems and integration with these systems.
6. Familiarity with valuebased payer contracting Star ratings and Population Health Management.
7. Familiarity with care gaps coding gaps diagnosis gaps and risk adjustment: Understand and navigate care gaps coding discrepancies diagnosis inconsistencies and risk adjustment methodologies to develop solutions that address these challenges and optimize valuebased care outcomes.
8. Strong business acumen strategic thinking and leadership abilities with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing healthcare software products or solutions from concept to commercialization.
9. Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and drive consensus around product decisions and priorities.
10. Experience working in Agile development environments with proficiency in Agile methodologies product management tools and project management practices.
11. Analytical mindset and proficiency in datadriven decisionmaking with the ability to leverage analytics tools and metrics to measure product performance identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
12. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements including HIPAA HITECH and other relevant standards with a commitment to maintaining data privacy security and regulatory compliance.
