L2L3 Deputy Manager Technical

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2/L3 Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing technical support to enterprise clients with expertise across various domains including server installation network products storage solutions security and virtualization/cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Server Installation and Configuration:

Conduct basic installation of servers (RACK/Tower) including physical verification of components.

Mount servers in customer racks/data centers as per site conditions.

Power on initialize and configure basic settings in the BIOS.

Configure iLO for remote management.

Update firmware of servers and other components.

Configure RAID as per customer requirements.

Install operating systems and configure IP address settings as per customer specifications.

Setup and configure HPE servers ranging from Micro servers to DL380.

2. Windows Server/Linux Servers:

Install Windows Server versions in physical/virtual environments.

Configure Active Directory DHCP DNS WSUS Web server FTP server DFS server roles in Windows Server.

Set up and tune Group Policies according to customer requirements.

Diagnose and troubleshoot server services issues AD recovery modes etc.

Configure and troubleshoot file/print services RDP services etc.

Deploy and configure various flavors of Linux distributions including RedHat Enterprise CentOS Ubuntu.

Configure server roles services and IP setup in Linux environments.

3. Storage (NAS/SAN):

Analyze customer requirements and suggest suitable storage models (NAS/SAN).

Configure storage according to customer requirements including file sharing and backup to cloud.

Handle SAN storage protocols basic configurations in SAN switches and troubleshooting.

Perform various storagerelated tasks such as tiering disk grouping and protection groups in standard SAN storage products.

4. Network Products:

Familiarity with standard networking products such as L2/L3 managed/unmanaged switches firewall devices wireless access points routers.

Handle entrylevel firewalls and basic configurations.

Configure L2 switches create VLANs trunking and stacking.

Familiarity with IP address schemes of SMB/Enterprise segments and DMZ configurations.

Knowledge of IPVPN SDWAN SASE ZTNA technologies.

5. Security and Backup Applications:

Set up various backup solutions for SMB/Enterprise/Government customers.

Install customize and troubleshoot backup products such as Veritas Commvault Veeam Acronis.

Support customers in data retrieval from backups in case of disaster.

Handle Tape drives/libraries/autoloader and deploy/troubleshoot antivirus/nextgen AV products.

6. Virtualization/Cloud/HCI:

Knowledge in setting up server virtualization using VMware vSphere 7/8.

Configure data stores from different storage products and install/configure VMware ESXi vCenter HA and FT solutions.

Familiarity with onpremise/public cloud infrastructure and administration of Azure cloud entities and subscriptions.

Understanding of HCI solutions using VMware vSAN Nutanix HPE SimpliVity.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.

Relevant certifications such as CCNA MCSA RHCSA VMware certifications are preferred.

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
