Job Purpose:
The Bookkeeper will manage daily financial transactions maintain accurate records and support the finance team with reconciliations reporting and tax calculations. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the company s financial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Financial Processing:
Accurately process and record all financial transactions.
Ensure all transactions are properly documented and supported.
Complete daily reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies.
Monthly and Quarterly Financial Tasks:
Prepare management accounts and financial statements.
Reconcile bank accounts intercompany transactions and investments.
Assist with VAT and income tax calculations and returns.
System Maintenance and Improvement:
Keep financial systems and databases uptodate.
Provide suggestions for improving systems and processes.
Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
Address client service inquiries professionally and promptly.
Prepare accurate reports for stakeholders within deadlines.
Support to the Finance Team:
Assist senior accountants and financial managers as needed.
Perform continuous selfreviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Competencies:
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency with accounting systems and databases.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite particularly Excel.
Familiarity with VAT and income tax regulations and compliance.
