Job Description

  • Implement comprehensive merchandising strategies that will drive sales and profitability.
  • Organize and manage assortments of products.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory by implementing inventory management strategies.
  • Understand the trends in the industry the preferences of customers and the competitive landscape.
  • Ensure trade terms are met during the contract period by negotiating favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to optimize costs and maintain.
  • Analyze product performance and identify areas for improvement using sales reports POS data and outlet feedback.
  • Track KPI including sales customer satisfaction gross margin and inventory turnover.
  • Create appealing and impactful product displays in collaboration with the visual merchandising team.
  • Support and guide the merchandising team in product knowledge sales techniques and visual merchandising standards.
  • Engage in close collaboration with outlet managers to ensure effective implementation of merchandising strategies at the store level.
  • Assist in providing support and guidance to outlet teams for sales techniques product assortment and visual merchandising standards.


Requirements

  • A Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Merchandising or related field.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills problem solving skills negotiation skills and vendor management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of retail merchandising principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in market research and trend analysis.
  • Proficient in managing product assortment and inventory
  • Thorough understanding of visual merchandising and optimizing store layouts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a crossfunctional team environment
