Social Media Community Manager
Unique position with a rapidly expanding media digital & content production agency
Work on iconic and high profile Property and Retail client with an Australian community focus
JOB TYPE: Full time. Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm Melbourne Time (AEST/AEDT).

This role requires a Social Media Community Manager to join our team of Account Directors Strategists Executives and Content Producers to assist in the day to day running of our client s accounts. An initial 3 month probationary period will apply to this role.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Engaging with the Australian social communities of our client in the retail sector
Building and implementing moderation strategies
Liaising with client stakeholders to manage cases and ensuring any escalation processes are adhered to in a timely manner
Daily moderation using industry standard tools & reporting interfaces
Working with our social media executives to extract data and analysis for use within regular client reports
Competitive & segment analysis
MANAGEMENT
Continuous and open communication with the Community Engagement Manager on daily community management activities and best practice responses.
CULTURE
Share in the hotglue social media team culture through sharing your learnings challenges and wins with the team.
Contribute within team WIPs.

EXPERIENCE:
Education in a relevant PR Journalism or media field with exposure to social media procedures and practices
23 years experience in a relevant field
Strong written communication skills and a highly tuned level of attention to detail
Ability to adapt language and tone to engage and inspire local Australian audiences across a multitude of properties and different platforms
Knowledge of current social platforms (Facebook Instagram TikTok etc.) and a willingness to learn new platforms technologies and techniques as required
A knowledge of and interest in the retail sector will be well regarded
A love and passion for all things digital!
