Working as a Accountant

We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing team. At Orange Cyberdefense we pride ourselves on creating a secure digital environment for businesses around the globe. The Accountant is responsible for the monthly closing process for Orange Cyberdefense. The goal is to keep the financial situation of Orange Cyberdefense up to date. Furthermore the Accountant fulfills all the governmental obligations in time and makes sure that all employees and 3rd parties are paid in time.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts payable Handling incoming accounts payable invoices weekly payments supplier reminder and follow up.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and accounts including ledger entries invoices and receipts.
• Conducting regular financial analysis and reporting supporting the finance team in making informed decisions.
• Preparation of Monthly and yearly closing salaries inventory depreciation.
• Managing balance sheet accounts
• Perform VAT return preparation activities to return filing
• Prepare and maintain reconciliation of the VAT general ledger accounts and banks for European VAT positions.

What We Expect from You

• A bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant with an understanding of VAT regulations and accounting procedures.
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English dutch and French with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
