THE ROLE

As Barkyns Warehouse and Carrier Manager you will ensure timely delivery and efficient warehouse operations. This role involves managing relationships with carriers optimizing warehouse processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Specifically we expect you to:

• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve performance goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with transportation providers and logistics service vendors.
• Negotiate contract terms rates and service agreements to ensure operational efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor carrier performance and implement corrective measures when necessary.

Mandatory:

• Proven experience in logistics management preferably in a complex supply chain environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build solid relationships with suppliers and carriers.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop crossfunctional teams.
