Project Manager

• Plan and manage a variety of construction projects from inception to completion. Organize and oversee construction processes to ensure they are completed safely efficiently and on time.
  
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies and procedures and the ability to coordinate a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal results. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential.
  
• The objective is to ensure all projects are delivered on schedule meet quality standards avoid major incidents and stay within budget.
  

• Collaborate with clients engineers architects subcontractors and direct contractors to define project specifications and resolve any commercial or technical issues.
  
• Define the scope of work for subcontractors.
  
• Lead the consultant team to obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  
• Determine the required resources (manpower equipment and materials) from start to finish ensuring budgetary constraints are met and coordinate with subcontractors for resource provision.
  
• Plan all construction activities and schedule intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
  
• Acquire equipment and materials and monitor stock levels to address any shortages promptly.
  
• Assign responsibilities and define the scope of work for staff.
  
• Supervise laborers mechanics and other workers providing guidance as needed.
  
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed progress reports.
  
• Attend client and consultant meetings to present progress reports.
  
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and report any issues.

• Proven experience as construction project manager
  
• Indepth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
  
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
  
• Good knowledge of MS Office including MS project
  
• Familiarity with construction/ project management ISO documents
  
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  
• Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
  
• A team player with leadership abilities
  
• BSc/BA in engineering building science or relevant field
  
• PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
