Collection Cashier

Our organization seeks a highly qualified Cash Application Specialist to join a dedicated team responsible for safeguarding the integrity of our cash flow.

In this critical role you will assume a pivotal position in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all customer payments. You will leverage your expertise to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders optimizing the functionality of our automated collections system and guaranteeing the prompt delivery of official receipts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement meticulous data verification procedures to confirm the legitimacy of customer payments against supporting documentation and corresponding bank statements.
• Oversee and streamline the automated collections process fostering seamless collaboration with internal and external partners to guarantee its continued success.
• Issue official receipts to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct thorough reconciliations of relevant bank accounts and general ledger accounts before finalizing deposit reports ensuring the complete and accurate deposit of all collected payments.
• Demonstrate exceptional problemsolving skills to efficiently address and resolve collectionrelated issues adhering to established company protocols and stringent compliance regulations.
• Provide comprehensive support to both internal and external teams in navigating collection matters collaborating effectively with business units and customers to clear outstanding transactions.
• Secure and download bank statements to serve as a primary source of payment recording and verification.

Qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
• We strongly prefer candidates with a minimum of five years of experience in Cash Application ideally within the oil industry or a related field.
• Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills are essential for success in this role.
• Proficiency in SAP software is a significant advantage.
• A comprehensive understanding of daily bank deposits reconciliation processes and general ledger accounts related to bank adjustments is necessary.
