Job Description

  • Participate in the development and implementation of performance evaluation and job enrichment programs, as well as plan, develop, update, and manage compensation and benefits programs for the bank, its subsidiaries, and external branches. Ensure equal opportunities internally and externally, aligning with the bank's strategic HR goals and policies while adhering to approved budgets.
  • Review employee incentive programs (across all departments under the program), conduct necessary analyses, ensure their alignment with objectives, and adjust them as needed to meet business requirements while upholding principles of fairness and equality.
  • Contribute to the Employee Benefit Matrix by suggesting/modifying any existing or new benefits aligned with approved job levels and market competitiveness data, and escalate recommendations to the direct supervisor.
  • Conduct regular salary surveys in the banking market (Jordan, Palestine, and any other regions/branches under the bank), collaborate with specialized companies, provide necessary data, verify analyses and reports to reflect the bank's competitive position, and propose comprehensive recommendations including financial implications to maintain a distinctive competitive position.
  • Evaluate wage differentials among job families of the same grade and address any disparities or justify them as per standards, and elevate recommendations accordingly.
  • Review and approve compensation, benefits, and salary-related requests after studying them to meet bank requirements and policies while retaining talent.
  • Collaborate with the Organization Unit to ensure updated job descriptions for all bank positions are in line with the approved compensation programs.
  • Work alongside the Talent Acquisition Unit to determine compensations for recruits without causing disruptions and maintaining balance with other jobs at the same level, either internally or in similar roles in the banking sector.
  • Assess performance throughout the year by monitoring all departments and sections across the bank and its external branches, including data collection, analysis, and using modern evaluation methods to identify strengths, enhance them, recognize weaknesses, and reward high productivity.
  • Provide necessary support, guidance, and training to all employees in setting goals, establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), calculating assessment scores based on achieved performance, and achieving desired goals.
  • Contribute to the development plans in coordination with managers and employees to address performance gaps in collaboration with other HR units, aiming to enhance employee performance, reduce error rates, and improve work quality.
  • Address any problems or obstacles hindering employees from achieving their goals in coordination with direct managers and relevant departments in the bank and its external branches.
  • Participate in implementing talent management plans and programs, whether internal or external, to meet the institution's aspirations and achieve its goals by maximizing institutional performance.
  • Develop career paths for talents within the institution and participate in developing competitive compensation and benefits programs linked to an advanced performance evaluation system, ensuring fairness and required efficiency, in coordination with relevant units in the HR Department, to retain talents.
  • Contribute to the development and application of Human Resources Planning activities for the bank and its subsidiaries, including Succession Planning and Career Development Planning, through job development programs and drawing individual career paths to qualify human resources and ensure the availability of human resources commensurate with their qualifications and capabilities.
  • Act as a core/alternate member within the Continuity of Business Operations and Emergency Response teams, executing all assigned tasks under the plan to minimize crisis impacts and restore operations as soon as possible.
