Manager - College Partnerships

Bhumi is one of India s largest youth volunteer organizations with a mission to promote volunteering as a national habit. The vision for college partnerships is to have a Bhumi College Club in every district of India by 2030.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effective strategies to expand our college partnerships and maximising student volunteering.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Engage all internal stakeholders in shaping shared goals strategies for the programme to maximize college student volunteering and engagement.
  
• Build strategies to maximize college student volunteering (10x in the next 23 years) and oversee the efficient and effective daytoday functioning
  
• Build strong long term mutuallybeneficial relationships with managements of colleges to maximise student engagement learning and leadership development
  
• Build systems processes culture and the team (employees and volunteers) to support efficient and effective daytoday functioning with a focus on continuous learning improvement and rapid growth
  
• Strategize and help execute increased social responsibility among colleges through advocacy recognition and events
  

Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

• Any Graduate postgraduate or fellowship
  
• Exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Willing to travel extensively
  
• Excellent track record of effectively leading and regionally and/or nationally scaling a performance and outcomesbased project
  
• Proven experience in partnership development recruitment or a related field preferably within the education and nonprofit sector.

• Strong networking and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective partnership strategies with a passion for social impact
  
• Excellent communication skills English Hindi and/or Tamil
  
• Proactive SelfMonitored Resourceful Accountable
  
• Problemsolving and Data driven Decisionmaking skills are essential
  
• Willingness to travel nationally and locally as required
  
• Any institutional leadership role held/experience would be an advantage.
