NEC voice engineer

Job Title : Network Voice NEC Engineer

Location: Everett WA

Duration: Long term

Responsibilities:

• Design configure and deploy NEC voice communication systems based on client requirements.
• Perform system integration including SIP trunking PRI connections and VoIP protocols.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver comprehensive voice solutions that meet business needs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in voice communication technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Proven experience in designing implementing and supporting NEC voice communication systems.
• Proficiency in NEC telephony platforms including NEC Univerge and SV9000 series.
• Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP H.323) and networking concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. NEC Certified Technician) are a plus.
