We are seeking a drivenBusiness Development Managerto join our innovative team in the legal technology sector. This Sydneybased role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven track record of conquering sales targets and an expert in cultivating relationships within the legal industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and prospect potential firms through cold calling email networking and leveraging industry contacts
Develop present and maintain an active Territory Management Plan
Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline tracking leads and opportunities through various stages of the sales cycle
Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts contributing to strategic planning and resource allocation
Conduct engaging and persuasive Smokeball product demos to clients focusing on value proposition
Create compelling proposals tailored to the clients needs addressing their pain points and offering effective solutions
Conduct thorough needs analysis to align our solutions with client objectives ensuring a customised and valuedriven approach
Identify and cultivate new business networks for lead generation through promoting Smokeball products through support in events marketing and networking; nurturing leads provided by the SDR team; engaging in prospecting best practice
Lead negotiations on pricing terms and contracts ensuring favorable outcomes for both the client and the Smokeball
Effectively close deals meeting or exceeding sales targets and ensuring a smooth transition to the Client Success Team
Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and market dynamics providing valuable insights to the sales and marketing teams
Maintain detailed records of client interactions proposals and contracts using CRM software like Salesforce
Provide regular reports on sales activities performance metrics and achievements to management
