Join our team as aSenior Software Engineerand youll play a central role in developing new products and enhancing existing Ascom products. Collaborating closely with stakeholders youll evaluate project goals develop and maintain software to expand Ascoms product portfolio. Additionally youll provide leadership and guidance to less experienced engineers driving software development excellence across the team. Your Contributions:

• Responsible for designing and implementing optimal software solutions with regards to functionality reliability performance and implementation time
• Support in resolution of customer issues and work with software maintenance and refactoring of existing products
• Understand customer and stakeholder requirements and how they translate in software features
• Lead technical investigations and prestudies
• Identify technical debt and drive refactoring to increase maintainability
• Responsible for adhering to operational documents and procedures
• Reduce low quality and defects and development lead time by rigorous adherence to agile methods
• Stay abreast with technical developments and new technologies in relevant areas
• Identify synergies between products with respect to software and collaborate to align coding practices and solutions in different teams
• Coach other software engineers in design and implementation in an efficient and highquality way maximizing customer value
• Create technical requirements and design documentation and contribute to user documentation
• Initiate and participate in design and code reviews and collaborate with colleagues to execute improvements both in technology and way of working
• Responsible for verification of own software modules and to participate in the verification of the complete software product. Promote and contribute to test automation

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proficiency in the C#.Net and microservice experience
• Strong problemsolving prowess adept at tackling technical challenges and architecting new products
• Handson experience with unit testing automated testing continuous integration and a solid grasp of their significance
• Proven track record in implementing communication protocols and interfacing with thirdparty systems via various APIs
• Ability to analyze performance and memory usage in .NET applications
• Familiarity with Entity Framework and SQL Server
• Expertise in designing and building highly available (Active/Active) distributed software systems
• Familiarity with message queuing systems like RabbitMQ
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Proficiency with Docker Helm Kubernetes will be a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Services or other cloud platforms
• Some frontend exposure with WPF Blazor and/or Micro Frontends would be advantageous
• Experience in designing and developing medical device software compliant with standards such as IEC 62304 ISO 14971 IEC 60601 ISO 13485 etc. is a plus
