• Process all invoices from the AP email in box
  
• Timely and accurate input of vendor invoices to the accounts payable software
  
• Process credit card transactions for the Procurement Credit Card used by accounts payable
  
• Scheduling and preparing checks and ACH payments to vendors
  
• Research and resolve inquiries in the AP email in box
  
• Provides support to both employees and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  
• Ensures a W9 has been received for independent contractors per IRS guidelines
  
• Reviews the outstanding checks issued by accounts payable to assure all checks are cashed.
  
• Research and resolve all stale dated checks
  
• Initiates/releases wire/ACH payments through the general bank account
  
• Contributes to the annual audit
  
• Other duties as assigned
  

Requirements

Building Blocks: What It Takes to Thrive

• 1 to 3 years dedicated accounts payable experience
  
• Experience working with Microsoft Office (especially MS Outlook MS Word and MS Excel)
  
• Prior payable accounting experience required.
  
• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  
• Exercise good judgment and strong character motivated hard working.
  
• Ability to work well with fellow associates clients and vendors.
  
• Good communication skills. Neat clean healthy work habits.
