Meat Cutter

We are looking for a skilled Meat Cutter on behalf of our client responsible for preparing portioning and cutting meats according to specific requirements in a retail or food service setting. If you have expertise in handling and processing meats ensuring quality cuts and maintaining hygiene standards wed like to introduce you to this role as an essential part of our clients team in the food industry.

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

• Restaurant and food service

• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
• Cut carcasses sides and quarters
• Cut trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
• Wrap and package prepared meats
• Remove bones from meat
• Cut poultry into parts
• Cut fish into steaks and fillets
• Grind meats
• Slice cooked meats
• Shape lace and tie roasts other meats poultry and seafood

• Band saw
• Manual cutting utensil
• Power grinder
• Slicing machine
