Diesel Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Oman. This role involves maintaining repairing and servicing dieselpowered vehicles and machinery to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect diagnose and repair diesel engines and related components in vehicles and machinery.
  
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes filter replacements and engine tuneups.
  
• Conduct system overhauls and major repairs replacing worn or defective parts.
  
• Test and adjust systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with specifications.
  
• Read and interpret diagnostic reports technical manuals and schematics.
  
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
  
• Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics and technicians.
  
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in diesel technology and repair techniques.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in diesel mechanics automotive repair or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  
• Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.
  
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude.
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Physically capable of handling the demands of the job including lifting heavy objects and working in various positions.
