Process Design: You design and optimize processes for offshore oil and gas production considering factors such as safety efficiency and environmental impact.
FEED Studies: You lead or contribute to Front End Engineering Design studies which define the scope feasibility and cost estimates for offshore projects. This involves evaluating different technical solutions and selecting the most suitable ones.
Process Simulation: You use specialized software to simulate offshore production processes assessing performance under different operating conditions and identifying potential bottlenecks or issues.
Equipment Specification: You specify the equipment required for offshore production facilities such as separators pumps compressors and heat exchangers. You ensure that equipment meets project requirements and regulatory standards.
Safety and Environmental Compliance: You ensure that offshore production facilities comply with safety and environmental regulations. This includes conducting risk assessments designing safety systems and implementing measures to minimize environmental impact.
Interface Management: You coordinate with other engineering disciplines such as structural mechanical and electrical to ensure that all aspects of the offshore facility are integrated and optimized.
Cost and Schedule Control: You monitor project costs and schedules identifying potential deviations and implementing measures to keep the project on track.
Technical Support: You provide technical support during the construction commissioning and startup phases of offshore projects ensuring that processes are implemented correctly and efficiently.
Continuous Improvement: You participate in lessons learned exercises and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards.
