Finance Manager

Our client is a Retail Apparel and Fashion global company who focus on labels.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of goals policies priorities and procedures relating to financial management budget accounting tax and payroll for Semarang factory
• Oversee general accounting functions including but not limited to: accounts payable accounts receivable revenue & asset accounting inventory & costing general ledger payroll and taxes
• Manage the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects monthend and yearend reports including tax and custom filings are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain proper accounting tax payroll and customs records according to relevant laws and regulations
• Evaluate develop and improve department controls systems processes and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation
• Ensure that tax and custom filings are fully compliant with relevant laws and regulations
• Direct internal audits involving review of accounting tax custom and system controls
• Direct annual external audit and any ad hoc tax and custom audits
• Analyse financial data and creating reports for management stakeholders and external parties such as customers suppliers or financial institutions
• Manage good business relationships with stakeholders including but not limited to internal and external auditors related government departments banks regional office and headquarter
• Assist other departments as they develop strategies establish objectives and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business
• Keep management updates about the latest developments in the finance industry tax and custom regulations

Qualifications:

• University degree in accounting / finance
• Qualified Accounting Certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Indonesian both facetoface and remote using phone and communication software
• Proficient in using MS Office and good knowledge in ERP/MRP
• Sound knowledge of international accounting standards local tax and custom regulations
• 5 years proven experience as a fulltime accounting professional
• 2 years in managerial or supervisory role
• Work with integrity and professional ethics
• Solid work experience in manufacturing industry
• Related industry experience and/or ERP/MRP system implementation experience would be an advantage
• Good interpersonal and corporate communication skills
• Able to be handson work independently and under pressure to prioritize routine tasks and to complete assigned duties within set deadline
• Able to stand firm when facing integrity and internal control challenges
• Possess a passion for keeping professional knowledge up to date
• Strong documentation and reporting skills to effectively document policies and SOPs
