As a Sales Account Representative you will buildnew relationships and expand business with existing customers within anassigned territory or industry focusing on the public sector. Youll beresponsible for all aspects of the sale including price negotiations contractdevelopment and order fulfillment. This is a great opportunity for you to workin a highgrowth environment with partner sales and services organizations andIT and business executives to develop and carry out strategic sales plans.

What youll be doing:

  • Strategically drive sales of Oracle Cloud services across government sectors including state local federal and DoD agencies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key governmental decisionmakers to address their unique cloud requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Tharseo ITs technical marketing and project management teams to develop customized Oracle Cloud solutions that meet specific agency needs.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards relevant to cloud deployments in government settings.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to a variety of government stakeholders clearly articulating the technical and business benefits of Oracle Cloud.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure including proposal generation contract negotiation and finalization.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets

What youll need:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology or a related field.
  • 3 years of successful quota carrying sales experience
  • 3 years of solutions sales experience in software or hightech offerings and services
  • Experience selling in a direct and partner model
  • Knowledge of OCI PeopleSoft Ellucian Banner EBusiness Suite Oracle DB and/or Oracle related application marketplaces
  • Exceptional background in quota attainment
  • Experience working in government or public sector sales.
  • Established network within the public sector and a deep understanding of government procurement processes.
  • Proven strategic thinking abilities regarding business product and technical challenges in the Public Sector.
  • A history of successful technology adoption and solution implementation in government contexts.
