Job Summary:
As the Head of Human Resources at a Chemical Manufacturing Company you will be responsible for leading and shaping the companys HR culture. You will provide leadership consultation and operational support to direct reports the executive leadership team and line managers. Your role will be to foster and create alignment between the strategic company objectives and the policies procedures and guidelines of the Group. Ultimately you will contribute to the longterm success of the business by supporting the wellbeing development and engagement of the human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement workforce planning strategies including forecasting staffing needs skill assessments and succession planning to ensure the availability of skilled and capable employees to meet current and future business objectives.
Lead recruitment efforts for key positions including developing job profiles sourcing candidates and conducting interviews to attract top talent reduce timetofill vacancies and enhance the quality of the workforce.
Implement performance management processes including goal setting regular feedback and performance appraisals to identify training needs design training programs and oversee their implementation.
Identify training needs ensure the design of training programs and oversee their implementation to enhance employee skills knowledge and competencies contributing to individual growth and organizational success.
Develop and execute initiatives to boost employee engagement satisfaction and retention to create a positive workplace culture that fosters high engagement levels reduces turnover and increases productivity.
Assess HR programs effectiveness and make datadriven decisions utilizing HR data and analytics to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement in HR strategies and practices.
Develop/update HR guidelines and practices to mitigate legal risks maintain a fair and equitable workplace and ensure adherence to employment laws.
Contribute to the development of the companys overall strategic plan with a focus on HRrelated initiatives ensuring alignment of HR strategies with business objectives facilitating the achievement of longterm goals.
Perform any other related duties assigned by your management line to support overall business operations.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
7 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of HR policies procedures and employment laws.
English and Spanish Speaking
Ability to analyze data and make datadriven decisions.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
