• Be selfmotivated with a proactive mindset
  
• 24/7 operational support of 42 domain controllers hosting 10 AD domains
  
• Perform security enhancement changes in Group Policy and the OS layer following Change Control procedures according to the industry standard ITIL framework
  
• Actively engage in a multiyear migration project to the global platform
  
• Work closely with other project members as well as the larger Technology department in Japan and the larger global organization
  
• In the next 24 months the role will transition from support of local Active Directory to cloud service authentication and support of web based account provisioning toolsets
  

Requirements

• Experienced at least 3 years as an Active Directory Engineer in an Enterprise Environment
  
• Working knowledge of the ITIL Foundation framework
  
• Take a proactive approach to troubleshooting
  
• Adhere to the principles of continuous process improvement
  
• Working knowledge of industrystandard security best practices
  
• Technical knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory DNS Group Policy and the Windows Server Operating System
  

• Zero changerelated Active Directory service disruptions
  
• Improve security posture of AD
  
• Smooth account migration project completion
  

• Plan and execute AD changes with minimum service disruption
  
• Improve the security ratings of AD systems
  
• Successful completion of AD migration initiatives within project deadlines
  

• Project management and execution experience a plus
  
• Ability to think strategically and see the big picture
  
• Understanding the difference between a shortterm tactical fix and a longterm strategic solution
  
• Professional manner and business level English communication skill
  
• Business level Japanese language skill preferred
