- Integrated Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and manage integrated production plans and schedules, aligning production activities with project objectives and deadlines.
- Coordinate closely with production planning analysts and the production manager to ensure efficient resource allocation and material availability.
- Cost Management and Optimization:
- Monitor production costs, track expenditures, and analyze variances to ensure cost-effective production processes.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize production expenses.
- Inventory Management:
- Analyse steel quantities and production requirements to optimize inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability for ongoing production.
- Implement inventory management strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce storage costs.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track production progress against planned targets, analyze key performance metrics and prepare regular performance reports for stakeholders.
- Identify deviations from planned objectives and implement corrective actions to ensure production goals are met.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance production efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce waste.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects to drive operational excellence within the facility.
