2024-2025 School Occupational Therapist Wanted

• Collaborate with educators and service providers to align therapy goals.
  
• Maintain thorough documentation by monitoring progress and updating plans.
  
• Educate students families and staff on strategies for fostering independence.
  
• Develop personalized treatment plans with input from students teams and families.
  
• Deliver occupational therapy services including engaging activities and sensory techniques.
  
• Participate in necessary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) discussions.
  
• Conduct assessments of students fine motor skills sensory processing and daily living activities.
  

Requirements

• Master s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  
• Prior experience in pediatric or schoolbased occupational therapy is advantageous.
  
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Georgia or be eligible to obtain licensure before employment.
  
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
