Material Receiving Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify incoming materials to ensure they meet project specifications industry standards and compliance requirements.
  
• Maintain accurate records of inspections discrepancies and accepted materials ensuring all documentation is uptodate.
  
• Identify nonconforming materials and coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues promptly.
  
• Ensure materials comply with relevant quality and safety standards providing reports for management review.
  
• Support inventory management by ensuring accurate material counts and managing discrepancies.
  
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve material quality and compliance while maintaining positive working relationships.
  
• Prepare detailed inspection and discrepancy reports providing datadriven recommendations for quality improvement.
  
• Follow all safety protocols during inspections to protect personnel and ensure a safe working environment.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Quality Control Material Management or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 4 years in quality inspection or material receiving ideally within the construction or manufacturing industry.
  
• Relevant certifications in quality inspection supply chain management or material control are advantageous.
  
• Strong understanding of material properties and quality standards.
  
• Proven problemsolving skills to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication for supplier coordination and reporting.
  
• Keen attention to identifying material discrepancies.
  
• Ability to thrive in dynamic and fastpaced environments.
