Senior DevOps Engineer

Position Summary:The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in designing building and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will collaborate closely with our development operations and security teams to ensure the reliability scalability and security of our systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud computing automation and CI/CD practices as well as leadership skills to guide and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and a track record of driving operational excellence in a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design implementation and management of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support our applications and services.
• Architect and build scalable reliable and secure cloudbased solutions using platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline our deployment processes and infrastructure management.
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect our infrastructure and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Lead incident response and resolution efforts to minimize downtime and impact on our business operations.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define infrastructure requirements project timelines and resource allocations.
• Mentor and coach junior DevOps engineers providing guidance support and feedback to help them grow and develop their skills.
• Stay uptodate with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps cloud computing and automation and evaluate new tools and frameworks to improve our development process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in DevOps or system administration roles with a focus on cloudbased infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI.
• Understanding of networking concepts security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Leadership abilities with a track record of leading DevOps initiatives and mentoring junior engineers.
