Lab ManagerQuality Control Engineer for Concrete Ready-Mix - AL NAJI UNITED TRAD amp CONT

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Manager to oversee quality control processes in our readymix company. The Lab Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our laboratory conducting tests on raw materials and finished products analyzing data and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science concrete technology and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities:

# 1 . Laboratory Management:

• Oversee the daytoday operations of the laboratory.
• Schedule and prioritize testing activities to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.

# 2. Quality Control:

• Conduct tests on raw materials including aggregates cement and admixtures to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform quality control tests on readymix concrete batches including slump air content and compressive strength tests.
• Analyze test results and data to identify trends troubleshoot issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to improve product quality and consistency.

# 3. Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of testing activities test results and quality control documentation.
• Prepare reports summarizing test findings trends and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and participate in audits and inspections as needed.

# 4. Training and Development:

• Train laboratory staff on testing procedures equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Stay informed about new developments in materials science testing methods and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in materials science civil engineering chemistry or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality control or laboratory management role preferably in the readymix concrete industry.
• Strong knowledge of concrete technology materials testing methods and quality control standards.
• Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
• Fluent English is a must with a sprinkle of Urdu/Arabic.
